McAdams, Sheen turn up PDA on subway

Michael Sheen and Rachel Adams only had eyes for each other during a subway ride in Toronto.

Why bother waiting for hours outside a movie premiere to catch a glimpse of your favorite stars when you can just ride the subway?

One lucky fan spotted lovebirds Michael Sheen, 42, and Rachel McAdams, 32, riding public transportation around the actress' native Toronto earlier this week.

The onlooker snapped a photo of the hands-on twosome and posted it on Twitter, adding that the celebrity couple was "making out and hugging" throughout the ride.

While Sheen looked more hobo than Hollywood, with his unruly hair and overgrown beard, a sunglass-wearing McAdams was simple, yet stylish in a T-shirt, printed leggings and rain boots.

The couple continued their domestic bliss two days later with a trip to a local Whole Foods supermarket to stock up on food and wine.

McAdams is currently in the Canadian city with Sheen, where he is filming his latest movie "Total Recall."

Since making their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the pair appears to be stronger than ever.

Though their romance didn?t blossom until after filming "Midnight in Paris," Sheen credits the Woody Allen-directed film for sparking their relationship.

"I will be forever grateful that it was where I met Rachel," he told E! Online.

"She's talented, intelligent, beautiful. She's warm and friendly," he added to People. "She's very supportive, and very kind, very funny. She makes me laugh a lot."

He's one of the hunkiest men on primetime television, and Alexander Skarsgard was busy keeping up on his chiseled physique with a trip to a West Hollywood gym over the holiday weekend (July 2).

Prince William & Kate Middleton Sail Into Quebec City

After spending the night sailing along the scenic St. Lawrence Seaway aboard a Canadian navy frigate, Prince William and Kate Middleton made their grand arrival in Quebec City on Sunday (July 3).

First partaking in an interfaith prayer service on the deck of the HMCS Montreal, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge proceeded to disembark the sea vessel while once again facing French-speaking separatist protests as they spoke briefly with Grand Chef (Grand Chief) of Wendake, Konrad Sioui.

From there, William and Kate were taken to meet with residents of La Maison Dauphine, a center that helps homeless youths, which was to be followed by a military ceremony and the 375th-year celebration of the city of Levis.

Once finished up with the Quebec City duties, the royal newlyweds will be heading to Prince Edward Island - which happens to be the locale in which Miss Middleton's favorite childhood book, "Anne of Green Gables," is based.

Meanwhile, Prince William is said to be looking forward to the July 4th stop thanks to plans to partake in a search and rescue demonstration.

Bride-to-be Kate Moss stood by John Galliano after all.

The 37 year-old supermodel walked down the aisle Friday in a sparkling 1920's style gold and cream wedding gown. Galliano reportedly designed her beautiful floor length veil as well.

Moss looked dazzling in the vintage-style gown, which had sheer embellishments, glittering stones and embroidered gold leaf.

The groom, rock guitarist Jamie Hince, looked dapper in a double breasted blue suit by Yves Saint Laurent.

Her 14 bridesmaids wore flowers in their hair for the summer wedding at St. Peter's Church in Southrop, in Gloucestershire, England.

Back in February, just weeks before Galliano became embroiled in an alleged anti-Semitism scandal that took down his career, Moss announced that she had chosen him to design her dress.

Many wondered if his legal woes and his drug and alcohol rehabilitation would cause Moss to make a last minute switch.

Moss's wedding is a who's who of British rock star and fashion royalty.  Her maid of honor is Trish Simonon, the wife of Clash bassist Paul Simenon. Actress Sadie Frost, who was once married to actor Jude Law, will be a bridesmaid.  They will be wearing dresses by Erdem and Christopher Beales, according to Vogue.

The supermodel may have graced hundreds of magazine covers and walked a thousand catwalks but she admitted to being extremely tense about her upcoming big moment.

"I was so nervous when I was practicing signing the register," she told the Daily Mail. "I've been so stressed out. My hands were shaking like an old woman's!"

The couple's friend, Primal Scream bassist Mani told Metro that the groom wasn't feeling quite as nervous.

"He's marrying a supermodel," he said. "What's there to be nervous about?"
The three-day post reception and celebration is set to include a "Casablanca" film theme, fireworks, doves and the request that guests bring swimwear and water pistols.

Have You Written Off Online Networking As A Serious Business Tool?

Five years ago you could be forgiven for thinking that the best networkers only used face-to-face networking methods and tools. In fact, it was only this week, that I was having a discussion, rather ironically on Twitter, with a coach who told me that the best networkers only used face-to-face networking. Perhaps even worse than this rather short-sighted view, was her belief that small business owners didn?t have time to be using online networking as they were too busy running their own business. Mmmm. Let?s just say that I didn?t agree, and I will explain why in this article.

In my experience, many business owners fall into the trap of thinking online OR face-to-face networking, rather than combining the two different types of networking for maximum effect. Did you know that LinkedIn and Twitter are fantastic tools for keeping in touch with people after meeting them at an event? Wouldn?t your life as a networker be SO much easier if you could actually book some time to meet up with someone at a networking event ? rather than leaving it all to chance? Did you know that you can normally use LinkedIn & Twitter to make contact with someone at a face-to-face networking event, BEFORE the event?

Let?s talk about the time pressures which you face as a female and a business owner. If you are anything like me your to do list is never ending ? and with the typical demands that your business and family places on you it is not always possible to get to a physical networking event. But, your marketing and business plans rely on your growing and maintaining a network?

This is where online networking has the edge over face-to-face networking. It is always possible to indulge in some online networking in the odd 5 minutes of the day.

Many female business owners are fantastic at gaining opportunities via social media and so have discounted the possibilities that face-to-face networking can bring. Face-to-face networking doesn?t have to mean attending a formal networking group. Do you have your networking hat on when at social events? You never know what possibilities a hen weekend may offer? At a recent 40^th birthday party for my brother-in-law, I received a great lead from another one of my relations. When attending training events, have you got your networking hat on? Who on the course list would you like to stay in touch with after the event?

Many people think because I am a huge advocate of online networking, that I don?t see the value or point of face-to-face networking. They couldn?t be more wrong.

A face-to-face physical meeting can generate trust far quicker than a purely online relationship. Indeed, it is rare to find a very strong business relationship which hasn?t been cemented by some time spent physically together.

And even, if a face-to-face meeting is impractical ? a video call or phone call is better than an e-mail or purely Twitter relationship. Until you have actually taken that step to have a real time conversation, referrals and opportunities are unlikely to flow from that person.

With the arrival of social networking, a networker?s tool kit is now huge. But, just as you wouldn?t use a hammer to crack a nut, knowing which tool for which job is the key to networking effectively and efficiently.

There are definitely times when face-to-face has the edge, and times when online networking is better. The trouble is that most networkers get into a comfort zone, and tend to stick with what they know - and for many networkers that means being blinkered and choosing online OR face-to-face networking.

in my research for 'The Financial Times Guide To Business Networking', I found that the most effective networkers were both curious, but also willing to experiment. They didn't see any boundaries between personal and professional, online and off line networking - they were always open for networking, and tirelessly looking for the best ways to make and keep a valuable connection.

Hayden Panettiere and her new NFL wide receiver boyfriend Scotty McKnight have only been together for a few weeks ... but she's already partied with his family!!!

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... Hayden and Scotty ... along with Scotty's teammate Mark Sanchez ... rolled down to Newport Beach last weekend to attend a retirement party for Scotty's dad.

One source tells us Hayden was "very sweet the whole night" -- and get this -- we're told she was often seeing carrying Scotty's baby cousin around and raving about how much she loves kids!

After the party, the couple, along with several members of Scotty's family, hung out at a nearby pub and downed a few pints. Someone's getting comfortable!!!
